About IndiGo

The airline was founded as a private company by Rahul Bhatia of Interglobe Enterprises and Rakesh Gangwal in 2006. It took delivery of its first aircraft in July 2006 and commenced operations a month later. The airline became the largest Indian carrier by passenger market share in 2012.

Indigo operates the Airbus A320 CEO & NEO, the A321 NEO and the ATR 72-600 aircraft. The seating capacity on the A320 CEO fleet is 180, A-320 NEO fleet is 180 /186 the A321 fleet is 222 and ATR Fleet is 74.

Indigo flies to a total of 87 destinations including 63 domestic destinations within India and 24 international destinations within the extended neighborhood in Asia. The list includes the city, country and the airport's name, with the airline's hubs marked.
